North-Westerly - the spike is the Brixton tower (now Sentech). That is where all of Johannesburg and Pretoria's terrestrial television and FM radio originates. At least as far as SABC is concerned. Nerd alert: from a television standpoint, we're talking SABC1 (channel 6), SABC2 (channel 9), SABC3 (channel 13), M-Net (channel 39), M-Net CSN (channel 43), etv (channel 47). Sadly, Bop-TV's gone (channel 37).
